Make- Artistry 20-Hr Class Make-up

I have always wanted to get a formal training on make-up application. We all know that this costs alot and will definitely require my weekdays for months.

Lucky me! I stumbled upon this voucher 4 months ago. This is a 20-hour make-up class conducted by the Make-up Artistry. It covers: Day 1 basic make-up application, day and night make-up. Day 2 Bridal make-up and grooming for males. Day 3 make-up for black and white photography and for colored photography. Day 4 high fashion make-up. This is for 4 saturdays 8am-1pm. Actual cost is 12,500 pesos and since it's a voucher...2,500 pesos for all these!

For make-up for black and white photography, I just used half of the face for trial

We literally used black for eyeshadow, eyebrow and the lips. I love the outcome in photos!

Then for the colored make-up, we were asked to bring and editorial beauty shoot for inspiration

 

 Pardon my photos. The colors just looked washed out but from the newer cameras, colors looked vibrant :)

NYX MILAN: EVERYDAY BROWN-PINK LIPSTICK

NYX Roundlipsticks are very inexpensive (150-200php) but with good quality pigments. I've been looking for a mauvey-pink-brown lipstick for so long and stumbled upon MILAN.

TRAVALO:YOUR PERFUME ON THE GO

Since I needed to find a small spritzer for my perfume, I know that I needed Travalo. Travalo is not available in stores here in the Philippines but online. I'm not a fan of buying online so I asked someone to buy Travalo in Singapore. I got this blue Travalo from Watsons Orchard Singapore. In pesos it's pricey at around 810.

WET N' WILD: SUGAR PLUM FAIRY

Need to brighten up your make-up and make a statement? Ditch the red lips and go for a deep plum-red-black shade.

Wet n' Wild Sugar Plum Fairy is the best bet. It's matte so staying power is good but since it's really pigmented, color may feather outside your lip line. If you got dry lips, better to put some lip balm before applying the lip color. To remove, best to use a make-up remover repeatedly.
